My Mom, Carly, and I took a girls only trip to Virginia for 3 days on the way to pick up Hannah from a church camp! We stopped In Monticello and went to see Thomas Jefferson's house which was VERY fun for Carly but not as much for me! We also went to a place called the Michie Tavern where we met up with my cousins! There we got to experience the life of the Colonial Days. We got to dress up, play games, and eat the food that they ate. My favorite part by far was the soccer store right across from our hotel! I got a soccer bag and Carly got a shirt! Going to Virginia was a great trip!

Summer~

Summer began with Greg and me going on a once in a lifetime trip to Spain and France! We spent 4 days in Barcelona, a day in Valencia, a day in Mallorca, and then one day in France. The trip was through my company, Colonial Life.
Barcelona was by far my favorite spot! I would go back to visit anytime! Highlights there were a four hour bike tour of the city, spending HOURS in the beautiful market on Las Ramblas, and eating tapas.
